The power of partnership with Austin Urban Technology Movement

More News from Austin:

Dream Achievers have access to “after the dream” partnerships

When Dream Achiever alumna, Sarina Colosimo, graduated from Austin Coding Academy, she possessed a skill set that would help propel her into a middle-income job in the tech industry. Sarina landed a position as a Jr. Developer for SalesLabX, and she is very grateful for the support from DCTF and her mentors. Soon afterward, Sarina began looking for ways to continue her education and become better equipped with the hard and soft skills necessary for economic mobility and access to future career success. Enter our newest partner, Austin Urban Technology Movement (AUTMHQ), whose mission is to bridge the gap between the Black and Hispanic communities and the technology industry through job placement, career development, and networking opportunities.

Dream Achievers have needs beyond our program. To advance their careers and earn more income to build a better future, they need an “after the dream” partner to reach their full potential. Sarina and her fellow Dream Achiever alumni in the tech industry are excited to take advantage of AUTMHQ’s offerings, such as enrolling in certification programs, honing their leadership and personal skills, attending networking opportunities, and meeting with occupational and career mentors. In addition, AUTMHQ offers our Dream Achievers another supportive and inclusive community to reach their goals.

“Stories like Sarina Colosimo’s and our AUTMites‘ are why Austin Urban Technology Movement (AUTMHQ) partners with organizations like The Dream Come True Foundation to assist individuals to reinforce their education, get better jobs in tech, change their lives, and make their dreams come true,” said Paty Sesma, Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Austin Urban Technology Movement (AUTMHQ).

We are grateful to AUTMHQ’s partnership and efforts to help our Dream Achievers go beyond their initial dream. It is a testament to our mutually beneficial visions of individuals achieving their goals and thriving in their communities.
